Ex-Pro AV-Pro HDEX373 HDMI Extender uses a single CAT5/5e/6 cables to extend the HDTV display up to 120 meters upto 1080p/1080i using Cat6 shielded cables. [We recommend using good quality shielded Cat6 Cables]. It not only breaks the limitation of the HDMI cable transmission length but the Ex-Pro HDEX373 CAT5/5e/6 has more flexibility and convenience in cable construction using 1 as opposed to the usual 2 Cat cables and a small footprint of just 110mm x58mm x26mm. It is equipped with HDMI (high definition multimedia interface) connectors and is capable of supporting DVI (digital visual interface) equipment when used with an HDMI to DVI Adapter, providing greater flexibility and options when integrating several home theater components.
